FlagTap ("the app") is operated by Christian Ek. This privacy policy explains what information is collected and how it is used.

Information We Collect

FlagTap collects the following data:

• Display name: If you choose to submit your score to the leaderboard, you will be asked to enter a display name. This name is stored on our servers and shown publicly on the leaderboard.
• Game scores: Your score is stored in association with your display name when you submit it to the leaderboard.
• Anonymous user identifier: A random identifier is generated to associate your session with your leaderboard entry. This identifier is not linked to any personal information.

How We Use Your Information

The information collected is used solely to operate the leaderboard feature within the app. We do not use it for advertising, marketing, or any other purpose.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties, except as required by law.

Third-Party Services

FlagTap uses Convex as its backend infrastructure for leaderboard data storage. All game data, including flag images and map tiles, is bundled within the app and does not require network access during gameplay.

Data Retention

Leaderboard entries are stored indefinitely. You may request removal of your entry by contacting us.

Children

FlagTap is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
